ABOUT MJ MCLEAN PSYCH
Mitchell is a registered psychologist with Substantial experience providing psychological treatment to adults in clinical settings, as well as conducting assessments and preparing reports for offenders.
He primarily applies cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) in the management of psychological problems, and is passionate about supporting active Australian Defence Force personnel, and veterans, in working through their mental health challenges including trauma and addiction.
Mitchell also prides himself on completing thorough assessments and detailed reports for the courts, and is passionate about offender risk assessment.

Please note that we do not provide forensic services to self-represented individuals, and will only respond to enquiries from lawyers acting on behalf of their clients.
Rates and rebates
Session fees
Medicare and private health rebates
Forensic assessment fees are negotiated with a client's legal representative, and attract GST.
The fee for an individual therapy session is $200.00 AUD.
A referral from a General Practitioner (GP) or Psychiatrist is required to access a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per standard consultation with a valid Mental Health Care Plan.
Please check with your private health insurer to see if psychological services are covered under your policy.
